Marry Me a Little 1981 Original Off-Broadway Cast

A small-scale, two-character revue, Marry Me A Little was first staged at the Production Company, an off-off-Broadway outlet, between October 29 and December 28, 1980. On March 12, 1981, it reopened at the Actors’ Playhouse, a larger venue off-Broadway, where it played 96 performances. The brainchild of two talented authors, Craig Lucas, who also starred in it, and Norman René, the show detailed the relationship between two people, as illustrated by the songs written by Stephen Sondheim, with Suzanne Henry playing opposite Lucas. First LP release: February 1, 1982
